Bio

Melissa Archer’s acting career began in Texas where the Dallas-born beauty landed her first professional role while still a teen in high school. Following her dreams to Los Angeles, she studied with acclaimed acting coach Brian Reise while auditioning for film and television. Her big break came with the coveted role of Natalie on the ABC series One Life to Live in 2001.

After auditioning against hundreds of hopefuls, Melissa landed the part that soon became the pivotal ingénue role on the award-winning drama.

With Melissa’s contract up in 2005, the fiery redhead packed up to head back to Los Angeles, but was so overwhelmingly popular that ABC execs were unable to find anyone to replace her. She re-signed to continue the role that is still one of the most popular in the long-running episodic. The voluptuous beauty has graced over 100 magazine covers, appeared on numerous daytime talk shows, and been a red carpet favorite. She also recorded an original country song, Remember New Orleans, raising money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
